Church Flow Social.
Church Flow Social is the social media module of Church Flow, the church management platform at church-flow.com. It gives a church's authorised staff one place to publish, stream and measure the church's own social media presence.
Church Flow Social is built into the Church Flow platform. It is a staff tool, not a consumer app: a church connects its own social accounts, and only that church's authorised staff can manage them.
Each church's workspace is separate. Staff in one church can never see or touch another church's accounts, content or data.
A church's YouTube channel is connected by the channel owner through Google sign-in, and the connection can be removed at any time.
- Upload and schedule the church's own videos, such as sermons and event recordings.
- Create and manage live broadcasts for church services, from scheduled waiting room through live to complete.
- Read and reply to live chat during the church's own streams, with chat from every connected platform relayed onto one screen.
- See how the church's content performs with channel analytics on one dashboard.
Church Flow Social uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What the access is used for. When a church connects its YouTube channel, Church Flow Social receives access to that channel only. On behalf of the church's authorised staff it uses that access to upload and schedule videos to the connected channel, to create and manage the channel's live broadcasts for church services, to read and reply to live chat during the church's own live streams, and to read the connected channel's own analytics.
What it is never used for. Access is limited to the single channel the church itself connected. Church Flow Social never reads, posts to or analyses any other account, and it never accesses other users' data. Google user data is never sold and never shared with third parties; it is used only to provide the features above to the church that connected the channel, and is stored encrypted as described in our Privacy & Terms.
Staying in control. A church can disconnect its YouTube channel at any time from the Church Flow dashboard, or revoke the app's access in Google security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
