How to choose church software in South Africa.

Is the price public, in rand?
A dollar price is a moving target: your software bill changes every time the exchange rate does, and a hidden price means a sales call before you see it. Church Flow's plans are public and priced in rand, from R79 a month for up to 50 people on an average Sunday. No VAT is added: Church Flow isn't VAT-registered. Three things can cost more: an app add-on, the short links and web address of larger plans, and your providers' charges.

Is every module included?
Per-module prices add up: when check-in, giving and messaging are separate line items, add them all before you compare. Every Church Flow plan carries every ministry module, the same on the smallest plan as on the largest.

What happens during load-shedding?
Ask for the exact answer: what still runs when the venue's power and wifi go off, and what happens when the connection drops altogether. Church Flow runs on any connection, mobile data included, and labels can go out as emailed PDFs when the printer is down. Does it speak WhatsApp?

Who answers for your data under POPIA?
Under POPIA your church stays the responsible party, so you need an operator that takes that seriously. Church Flow acts as your operator: it processes your records on your instructions, to provide the service, and for nothing else. Can you leave with your data?
Ask how your records come out before they go in. With Church Flow, you can export your people and giving at any time. If you cancel, the workspace stays open to the end of your paid period. Then it is suspended with nothing deleted, and for 90 days our team can export everything for you.

Whose account does giving settle to?
