Mobile app terms.

What Church Flow provides. The full setup service for your own church app: we open and administer your Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts on your behalf, request the Apple nonprofit fee waiver, build the app from your name, icon, colours and content, submit it to both stores, publish updates, and watch the store account renewals so nothing lapses unnoticed.

What the church owns. Both store accounts and both app listings are opened in your church's legal name and stay your property, permanently. Church Flow acts as your administrator under the mandate below; it never becomes the owner.

Once-off setup fee. R2,500, invoiced when we accept your application. The once-off setup fee covers the full setup service, including the Google Play registration fee. Apple Developer Program fees are not included: we request Apple's nonprofit fee waiver for every registered nonprofit, and where Apple does not grant it, the enrollment fee and all annual renewals are payable by the church directly. Any other third-party fees are the church's responsibility.

Monthly uplift. 75% of your active Church Flow plan price, added to your subscription from the month your app goes live in the stores. It recalculates whenever your plan changes, and it replaces the 50% Church Flow App uplift: the total extra is 75%, never both.

Refunds. The setup fee covers work that starts the day we accept your documents and is not refundable once the store enrollment has begun. Fees billed in error are refunded automatically.

Your card, your renewal. Where Apple does not grant the fee waiver, the Apple Developer Program membership renews every year on your church's own card, which we set up during enrollment. Church Flow watches the expiry date and reminds you before it falls due.

If a membership lapses. Apple removes the app from the App Store until the membership is renewed. Members who already have the app keep it, but nobody new can download it and no updates can ship until the renewal clears.

What you authorise. By accepting these terms the church authorises Church Flow to create and administer its Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts, to hold the account credentials and API keys in custody, to accept the platform agreements the stores require, and to build, submit and update the app on the church's behalf.

The named officer. The officer you name in the application becomes the Account Holder of both store accounts. Apple may phone that person once to confirm they have the authority to bind the church. We brief them beforehand; we never take that call in their place.

How you accept. The officer accepts these terms and the mandate in the application by ticking the box and typing their full name. We record who accepted, when, and from which address, and we quote that record if a store ever asks for it.

The waiver condition. Where Apple grants the nonprofit fee waiver, the account may never offer paid apps or Apple in-app purchases, and it never signs Apple's Paid Applications Agreement. Giving in your app runs through your own payment provider in an external checkout, exactly as it does on your website, which keeps the account within the waiver's conditions.

Roughly 4 to 8 weeks from the day we receive your complete documents to the day your app is live in both stores. The two longest steps sit outside our control: Dun and Bradstreet can take up to 30 days to issue the D-U-N-S number the stores require, and each store reviews the app on its own schedule. We keep your account page current at every step.

What we hold. Your registration certificate or constitution, your proof of nonprofit status, your artwork, and the name and contact details of the officer you name. We use them only to open the store accounts and publish your app.

How we hold it. Documents are stored encrypted, every time a member of our team opens one is logged, and no document ever reaches your workspace, your website or your members. Store account credentials are held encrypted and are never displayed again once stored.

Deletion. After offboarding we delete your documents on request; email [email protected] from your church's account and we confirm within 30 days.

Offboarding. Cancel the add-on or your subscription at any time from your account page. We hand the Apple ID credentials and the Google Play access over to your church, remove Church Flow as an administrator and revoke our API keys. The accounts and the listings were always yours and remain yours.

What stops working. The app reads your church's data through your Church Flow workspace. When the subscription ends, the app stops functioning for your members even though it stays listed under your account. Renewing the subscription brings it back; a new publisher can also take the listing over from you.

We may update these terms. The version you accepted is stamped on your application; the current version always lives on this page. A material change is announced on your account page before it applies to you.
